Help came the week the lights were due to go off

I had exhausted every option when I filled in the assistance form. Someone called me the next day, prayed with me and walked me through the paperwork. The bill was paid directly to the utility company. I felt seen, not judged.

The promise for the day was written for me

I opened the site the morning of my interview and the promise was "Fear not, for I am with thee." I carried that verse into the room. I start the new job on Monday.

Prayed for by people I have never met

I posted a request for my mother before her surgery. Seeing the number of people who had prayed climb through the day gave our whole family strength. She is recovering well.

Volunteering changed my Saturdays

I signed up to help with food parcels expecting to give a couple of hours. I have received far more than I have given.
