God sends prophets to call His people back and to promise a coming Saviour.

The story

The kingdom divides and both Israel and Judah turn to idols. Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel and others warn of judgment, and Judah is carried to Babylon. Yet the prophets also foretell a new covenant and a suffering Servant who will bear the sin of many.

What it teaches

God's warnings are mercy, and His promises never fail. The prophets point to Christ.
